Raymond mill is widely used in the grinding and processing field of non-metallic minerals with Mohs hardness below 7 and humidity less than 6% for its characteristics of stable performance, excellent quality and smooth operation. It is very important for customers to master the maintenance and repair work of Raymond Mill in the process of operation. 1. In order to make the Raymond Mill operate normally, we should establish the "equipment maintenance and safety operation system" to ensure the long-term safe operation of Raymond mill and meanwhile to have necessary maintenance tools, grease and corresponding accessories.

2. The grinding roller device of Raymond mill need to be replaced after used for more than 600 hours. When the grinding roller is replaced, the rolling bearings must be cleaned, the damaged parts should be replaced in time, and the refueling tools can be operated manually.

3. There should be a fixed person in charge of the operation process of Raymond mill; the operator must have certain level of technology. The Raymond mill operator must carry out necessary technical training before installation, so as to understand the principle of Raymond mill and be familiar with the operating rules.

4. Raymond mill should be maintenance after been used for a period of time, to repair and replacement for grinding roller, ring, blade and other wearing parts, to examine connecting bolts and nuts of grinding roller device before and after operation, to see whether it is loose and whether grease is full.

5. Fineness adjustment. Product fineness can be freely adjusted through the analyzer at top according to different material size, hardness, moisture, proportion, processing fineness; the higher speed, the higher fineness and vice versa; higher fineness will cause decreasing in capacity. If it still cannot reach up the required fineness, users can debug the speed of blower.

6. The scrap limit of the grinding ring and roller: the remaining minimum wall thickness should not be less than 10mm.

7. When the Raymond Mill shut down, stops feeding first, and keep main mill running, so that the residual material can continue to be grinded (so as to blow the remaining powder). Turn off the main mill motor 1 minute later, then stop the blower, stop the classifier at last.

8. Metal block is strictly forbidden to enter the machine. Move it out from mill immediately in case it cause damage to the grinding roller and ring, even the central hanger.

9. Air volume adjustment: the air volume control valve located at the top of air inlet pipe generally should turn to maximum position, adjusted properly according to required fineness. The regulating valve located at the top of air outlet pipe should adjust until there is no dust spill at feeding port. The smaller air volume, the higher the fineness is; but it should be noted that if the air volume is too small, material is easily precipitated inside the airway which below main mill, users should adjust it properly.
