At present, the wet beneficiation process is mainly used to improve the grade of ore. The ore slurry grinding and beneficiation process requires a large amount of water resources. Especially in mining areas lacking water sources, water saving and water acquisition have become difficult problems. In order to alleviate the above problems, grinding and beneficiation under conditions of no water or less water consumption has become the goal pursued. The equipment included in the iron ore dry grinding and separation process includes: iron ore beneficiation vertical mill, multi-stage lifting air separator and multi-stage magnetic roller concentrator. The feeding port of the iron ore beneficiation vertical mill is equipped with a feeding mechanism, and the discharge port is connected to the feeding port of the multi-stage lifting air separator through the ore particle conveying mechanism. The powder outlet of the multi-stage lifting and air separator is connected to the powder collection device, and the outlet of the multi-stage lifting and air separator is connected to the inlet of the multi-stage magnetic roller concentrator through the discharge pipe. The concentrate outlet of the multi-stage magnetic roller concentrator is connected to the concentrate collection device, the tailings outlet of the multi-stage magnetic roller concentrator is connected to the tailings collection device, and the medium ore outlet of the multi-stage magnetic roller concentrator is connected to the iron ore through a return conveying mechanism. (a) Dry grinding: grind the crushed iron ore into a mixture of ore particles and ore powder through an iron ore beneficiation vertical mill;

(b) Air separation and classification: The mineral powder and mineral particles are separated through a multi-stage lifting air separator, and then the separated mineral powder is collected through a powder collecting device;

(c) Dry multi-stage magnetic separation: The ore particles are separated by multi-stage magnetic separation through a multi-stage magnetic roller concentrator and separated into high-grade concentrate, general-grade medium ore and low-grade tailings. The ore and tailings are collected, and the middlings are returned to the dry vertical mill for regrinding.
