Energy Saving and consumption Reduction Measures of Cement Plant Process

Cement plant process can usually be divided into raw material preparation, clinker calcination and cement production.

At present, China's grinding mill has common weakness as high energy consumption, low production capacity, poor product quality. Although some cement plants have used a new dry clinker process in recent years, there are still some problems in main frame, process system. For example, (1) the internal structure of the mill is irrational and the distribution of cement particles is wide, the grinding efficiency is low. (2) Some of the material size is big with bad wear resistance. (3) Powder machine work efficiency is low, cannot filter the particle size of 3 ~ 32μm powder. In the case of energy shortages, saving energy consumption of cement, improve production efficiency and reduce waste in production, will undoubtedly be the future direction of cement production.

There are following methods of solving those problems:

1. Optimize the internal structure of the mill, set up a powder selection function of the efficient and forced classifying system.

2. To reduce the size of the grinding clinker, the use of "more crushing and less grinding" process, transform the system which can reduce the power consumption.

3. To improve the characteristics of cement and mixed it with other materials.

4. Reasonable use of grinding aids.

5. To improve the electrical equipment power factor and efficiency, reduce power consumption.

2.6 Reasonable arrangement of production order.

In summary, the cement plant process energy saving need to be reform from its process, but also to strengthen the management. Traditional cement production enterprises often focus on the relationship between production and energy consumption, while ignoring the process factor. Therefore, in the future production of Cement plant process, to consider the relationship of quality, capacity and energy consumption, to achieve the balance between them. To achieve a reasonable ratio of cement particles to meet the best performance of grinding requirements by mixed with the appropriate amount of industrial waste. The correct coordination of good quality, production, energy consumption is the basic way to reduce consumption and save energy.
